The little extra: Effectively protects your lenses against UV rays
Features:
WHAT HE DOES
Ultraviolet or "UV" filters prevent some UV light from entering the camera lens. In outdoor photography, UV light blocks out brighter images, such as those of mountains, and in less sharp panoramic photos. Removing some of the UV light reduces atmospheric brightness and results in brighter panoramic photos.
UV filters were also chosen to protect their lenses. Lenses can be expensive and can therefore be repaired if damaged. These filters offer an excellent first line of defense. High-quality UV filters can remain on the lens at all times, have no effect on indoor photos, and do not reduce the amount of visible light entering the lens.
A UV filter specially designed to absorb UV light.
UV light is not blocked by Earth energy, it is only 315nm and goes all the way up to visible light at the upper 400nm end of the visible spectrum. This light is commonly referred to as UV-A and is not only bad for your eyes, but also for your photography. The visible light spectrum ranges between 400nm violet and 700nm red. Even though the UV light beam is invisible to the human eye, it can have a negative impact on photos.
