"No Lens Attached" - Warning Message Appears If your camera indicates "lens is not properly installed", please change the camera menu settings. Usually called the "release shutter, lens is not installed", you can change the settings to be allowed. Refer specifically to the camera manual Infinity Focus Position: The infinity mark position of the telephoto or super telephoto lens is slightly shifted to the positive side to allow focus adjustment even when focus shift is caused by temperature changes. The shift range is indicated by an L-shaped line, be sure to check focus via the viewfinder even when shooting at infinity.
